Damien Floyd Cleo Barr

Damien Floyd Cleo Barr, 32, of Portland, Tennessee, passed away Monday, April 22nd, 2024 in Canton, Ohio. Born in Portland, Tennessee, on March 9, 1992, a son of Wendy Kirk and Darrell Barr Sr. He is preceded in death by Warren (Frances) Kirk, Homer Barr and Velma Odom. In addition to his parents, Damien is also survived by daughter Chloe AnnMarie Barr; son Legend Tre’Harding Barr; 3 sisters Desiree Barr, Kaitlynn Allen, and Letesha Barr; 3 brothers Darrell Barr, Darrell Barr Jr., and Daniel Barr; special friends Shatieka Watson and Padrion Scott; special cousin Tommy Kirk; as well as a host of family members and friends.

 

Don’t cry for me, my burdens are gone, and I’ve been called home.

Always remember me because I am never really gone.

My love for you will always remain until once more we meet again.

I can’t take you with me, but I’ll leave my love here, every time you smile or shed a tear, I’ll be near.

Everyday I’ll come and visit you; you’ll know it’s me, I’ll be in every breath and heartbeat and memory you see.

Not trying to rush, but I must go, grandma and grandpa are here to welcome me home.

A memorial gathering to honor the life of Damien Floyd Cleo Barr will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 584 Nashville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066, on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024, from 12PM until 2PM.
