Dan DiDomenico Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hennessy Funeral Home - Akron on Jan. 21, 2022.
Dan DiDomenico, 72, passed away August 29, 2021. He is survived by his wife Denise; children Marissa (Patrick) and Jordan; grandchildren Wyatt, Levi, and Addie; brother David; sister Diane (Art); sister-in-law Lori; and extended family and many close friends.
Dan was born in Akron, OH to the late Albert and Angela DiDomenico. He was a proud, infamous brother of the Theta Chi fraternity. He had a decades-long career as a registered nurse in northeast Ohio. Dan loved to get together to play guitar with "Zeke and the Boys" and looked forward to a yearly fishing trip with his buddies. He loved his dog, Luca, who will miss eating half of Dan's dinners. Always full of life, he was a tough guy with a soft heart. His love for his friends and family was only matched by the love he received back from them.
Dan's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Summa Akron City Hospital for their incredible compassion and care.
Calling hours will be held at Hennessy Funeral Home, 552 N Main St, from 3–7 pm this Friday, September 3.
Condolences and special memories can be shared with the family online at hennessyfuneralhome.com.
Flowers can be sent to Hennessy Funeral Home, although the family would welcome donations to One of a Kind Pet Rescue in Dan's name.
