Gerald "Jerry" Paul Casenhiser, 69, passed away January 25, 2026. He was born January 10, 1957 in Akron, Ohio. Gerald graduated from Norton High School in 1975 where he excelled at football and wrestling. He was names first team All-Suburban definsive tackle and Suburban League Champion in wrestling at the 175 pound weight class. Gerald received a scholarship to attend Hiram College where he wrestled and played football. Receiving a degree in chemistry, he went on to work for GOJO Industries and Panther Trucking.
He was preceded in death by his father Robert Casenhiser Sr., mother Margaret Ann, and brother Clarence "Whitey" Casenhiser. He is survived by his brother Robert(Christine), sister in law Terrie, Aunt Dorthy Troje, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Mason Funeral Home, 330-535-9186.
