Karen J. Tingler

Karen J. Tingler, 65, of Springfield Township, passed away on February 20, 2026. She was born March 27, 1960 in Barberton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Joan Bilek. She graduated from Norton High School in 1978.

Karen retired from Walmart after 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her daughters and granddaughters.

Karen was a fun loving and creative person. She loved crafting and sewing and made many creative Halloween costumes and helped with school projects over the years. She loved game night with her family and bonus daughters. She also enjoyed being outside, especially loving Summertime and spending time at the beach.

In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Howard D. Tingler; and her beloved family animals, Logan and Butterscotch.

Karen will be deeply missed by her daughters, Doreen (Mike) Bennett and Julia (Jon) Keller; son-in-law, Cory Bennett; granddaughters, Kaydence, Ryleigh, and Willow; brothers, Gary (Kim) Bilek and Greg (Jan) Bilek; nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Karen's Life will take place on Sunday March 29, 2026 at Houston Hall, 3069 Houston Road, Norton, OH 44203 from 1pm until 5pm.
