Rosemary (Weiman) DiFrangia

Rosemary passed away on June 7, 2025, at her home, with her family at her side. She was born on June 12, 1942, in Barberton, Ohio, to Stephen and Mary (Capan) Weiman.

She graduated from Barberton High School in 1960 and later earned her cosmetology license. For over 30 years, she worked at Ciraldo's Barbershop, where she gave manicures.

On June 22, 1963, Rosemary married Rudolph DiFrangia. Rudy preceded her in death on March 22, 2017. During their 53 years of marriage, they enjoyed traveling the world-especially their many visits to Italy-and spending time at the Carovillese Club, where they loved socializing and dancing with friends and family.

Rosemary was always on the go. She enjoyed exercising at the YMCA, playing Euchre with friends at the Quirk Center, joining outings with the Falls Travel Club, and attending monthly luncheons at Blessed Trinity. She especially looked forward to Monday meetings with the Patterson Park Plus 50 Club and monthly card games with her lifelong friends.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Denise) and Christopher (Anna); grandchildren, Natalie, Alena, Vincenzo, and Salvatore; nephew Mark (Liz) Zimmer; Brother-in-law Frank; nephew, Alessandro and many other family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Stephen and Mary Weiman, infant son Stephen, Sister, Barbara (Joe) and nephew Patrick Zimmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Saint Anthony Church, 83 Mosser Pl, Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
