A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Joey's Catering for Dan "Mark" Moreau, 68, who passed away March 26, 2023 at his residence. The family will receive visitors between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm, with the sharing of memories, prayers, and eulogies beginning at 3:00 pm.
Survivors include wife, Kathleen F. Moreau; one son, David Joseph Moreau; his step-children, Toni T. Landry, and Lawson Threeton Jr.; one sister, Carol Bernard, six step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kameron, Dominick, Tucker, Tate, and Zoe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the former Ella Bertha Manuel and Wilfred J. Moreau; one son, Dan Mark Moreau II; and one sister, Kerry Moreau.
Mark was born in Eunice, La. He graduated from Basile High School in 1972. He worked in the oil field for many years until founding Global Logistics with his partner Doug Miller, and DDS, a dispatching service, both in 2000. At its largest, the company employed 85 people. Mark retired from Global Logistics in 2017.
