Funeral services for Dan M. Ray will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Neath Funeral Home with visitation beginning Thursday at 12:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Burnett and Pastor Napoleon Rabb. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Minden, Louisiana with military rites.
Dan was born on November 10, 1951, in Bunkie, Louisiana and entered into rest March 2, 2026, in Minden, Louisiana. He served his country in the United States Army and a proud Vietnam veteran. His favorite pass time was playing Bingo and watching the New Orleans Saints football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Norma Ray and his wife Linda Ray.
He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Ray, Dana Ray, Mindy Cherry (Alan), and Kimberly Ray; sisters Vicki Ray and Sandra Gent; brothers, William “Billy” Ray and Bobby Ray; grandchildren, Cody Studdard, Aron Studdard, Justin Swilley, Caden Ray, Kamryn Burr (Brandon), and McKayla Cherry; and great-grandchildren, Steve Rayland Brody Studdard, Nevaeh Wiltcher, Bentley Studdard, Mason Burr, Kruz Burr, Avery Kye (Lil) Johnson, and Kayzlee Stiles.
