Mrs. Shirley E. (Repoza) Ray, beloved wife of the late Charles A. Ray, passed away at the Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire, on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was 88 years old.

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on July 4, 1937, she was the beloved daughter of the late Manuel and Esther (Cerrato) Repoza. Shirley was a Salesclerk for Star Market for many years.

In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends. Shirley will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving children, Robert C. and his wife Denise N. Ray of Malden, Charlene Ray and her wife Angela Ray of Johnson City Tennessee and Sharon and her husband Chris Thompson of Kittery, Maine, brother; Robert Repoza of Melbourne, Florida, grandchildren; Lauren, Alyssa, Erin, Ashlyn and Ashley great-granddaughters; Kaia, Mercedes and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was also the sister of the late, Esther Demontier and brother Ronald Repoza.

Her funeral service will be celebrated in the Bigelow Chapel at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, 580 Mt. Auburn Street, Cambridge on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10 AM. Interment will follow the service in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery. Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460.
