Dana Jean Coots, 55, Kidder, MO., passed away on May 17, 2023, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron. Dana lived in Caldwell County, MO., all of her life.
Dana was born on July 7, 1967, in Kansas City, MO., to Gary M. and Elizabeth A. (Kavanaugh) Coots. She graduated from Penney High School, Hamilton, in 1985. She worked in the past as a bookkeeper and secretary for True Value Hardware in Hamilton.
Dana's hobbies included mushroom hunting, fishing, collecting rocks, and gardening.
Preceding her in death were her parents, daughter-Rachel Ann Catron, and sister-Kimberly A. Coots.
Survivors who will miss her dearly--husband, Billy Gene Catron, Kidder; daughters-Ashley (Clint) Riddle, Cameron, MO.; and Jennifer Bathgate, Cameron; brother-Gary B. (Kathy) Coots, Cameron; sister- Dr. Amy Krambeck, Chicago, IL; 3 grandchildren-Rachel, Kaylee and Clinton Riddle; and 3 nieces-Sarah Coots and Violet and Garnet Krambeck.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Memorial Service: 5 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2023, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.
Visitation: 4 to 5 p.m., Monday, May 22, one hour prior to the service, at Bram Funeral Home.
Memorials: Donations may be made to Dana's grandchildren in care of Ashley Riddle.
