Dana Munoz, 58, of Junction, passed from this life on April 25, 2022 in Kerrville.
Dana was born August 7, 1963 in Clinton, OK to Garland Frank Mantooth and Glenda Mae St. Clair Carroll. She was raised by her mother and step-father, John Carroll, Sr. in Junction from age 15. Dana married Jose Munoz in Junction. Dana was a hardworking CNA for 23 years. She loved family and friend get togethers and BBQs. She liked to collect items and treasures she found at garage/yard sales. Her favorite saying was "to each his own" and practiced her saying with acceptance of all. She was always willing to help anybody with anything. When adversity did arise, she resolved conflict by telling the other person "you're so pretty" in a sweet voice.
Dana is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Garland Dean Mantooth, Walter Carroll, and Charles Carroll; grandmother, Ada St. Clair; grandfather, Roland St. Clair; and aunt, Ramona Bollier.
Those left to honor her memory include, daughters, Larissa Melton (Linda Green); Reva Reynosa (Blane Williams); sister, Jayleen Cochran (Eugene); brothers, John Carroll, Jr. (Bonnie); Arvel Carroll (LeAnn); Ollie Carroll; Joseph Carroll (Kerry); grandchildren, Ava Posas and Hope Williams; and special family friends, Wendy Ellis (Charles Conner) and their children Braxton and Melanie; Patricia Carroll and her daughter Diana Hollis; and Wanna Runyan "Meme".
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM, April 29, 2022 at the Kimble Funeral Home Chapel with Toby Powers officiating.
The family would like to thank New Century Hospice and nurse, Kelly Land for her excellent care.
Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of the professionals at Kimble Funeral Home.
