Dane Harbin

Mr. Dane Harbin, 39, of Owens Cross Roads, AL, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025. Dane was born in Huntsville, AL on October 15, 1986 to Frank Harbin and Sharolyne Campbell Harbin. Dane attended New Market Baptist Church where he became a member when he was 11 years old. His elementary years were spent at New Market School and high school years were at Buckhorn High School. Following graduation, Dane joined the United States Marine Corps which included a tour of duty in Iraq. Upon returning, Dane earned an Associates Degree at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL. Dane was an avid outdoorsman that loved fishing, hunting and coaching his children's teams.

A service to honor Dane will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service with his brother, Zack Harbin, officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Oddfellows Cemetery in Grenada.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Lorna; four children; his parents; brother and his grandmother, Barbara Campbell of Grenada.

Dane is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob Campbell and Buddy and Peggy Harbin.
