Dane was known as a loyal, honest, and caring person, and when he was not on the golf course, he was supporting his "favorite niece and nephew" at their events.
Dane is survived by his father, Donald (Barbara) Jahn, Sister, Donna Jahn (Jack Thomas), Sister, Darla (Brian) Van Horn, Nephew, Gavin Van Horn, and Niece, Jordan Van Horn. He was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Jahn, and his grandparents.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Dane's life on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Bobcat Sports Bar, 1099 W. 1st Avenue Grandview Heights, Ohio 43212. Dane will be laid to rest in the mountains of Colorado.
Donations in Dane's memory may be made to the Grandview Heights High School Alumni Association (GHHSAA), P.O. Box 12116, Columbus, Ohio 43212.
