Danh Thi Le, age 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Intersect Health Care Center in Belding, MI. She was born on July 1, 1935, in Saigon, Vietnam. In her early years, she earned a living by selling rice in her hometown. Later, she worked as a seamstress. In 1987, she immigrated to the United States to live with her daughter, Thu. She later obtained employment in Virginia and relocated closer to her workplace. Upon reaching retirement, she returned to live with Thu. In the years that followed, she fulfilled her wish to travel and experience different places. She spent several years in Japan, later returned to the United States and resided in California and visited Vietnam often.

In 2019, she came back to live with Thu and her family in Grand Rapids, MI. After several months, her health declined, and she was hospitalized. Given her advanced age, she later received devoted care in a nursing home until her peaceful passing.

grandchildren: Ki u Oanh (Oánh), Tru ng Thanh (Ng c i p), Tru ng Giang (Tâm), Ki u Trinh (Quang), oan-Trang (Christopher), Long An, Nhu Bình (Jake), Alyssa; great-grandchildren: Bình Phuong, Ki u Phuong, Tru ng Xuân, Ng c Xuân, Tâm Loan, Tâm Uyên, Nh t Anh, Nh t Nam, Nahvà, Nhea.
