Daniel R. Allard, 34, of Westborough and formerly of Sutton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the New England Baptist Hospital in Boston. He was the devoted & loved husband of Melissa L. (Gofforth) Allard.
Born in Worcester, Daniel was the son of Vincent Allard, Sr., of Sutton and Carol Tatro of Uxbridge, and he was raised in Sutton. Dan graduated from Blackstone Valley Technical High School in 2008 and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree while playing football at Salve Regina University.
Dan spent his summers on the Marlboro Golf Course, winter mornings hunting in the woods, and Sundays passionately cheering for the Titans with unwavering loyalty. He found joy in spoiling his nieces, collecting gifts for them everywhere he and Melissa traveled. Dan had a love for whiskey and cigars, grilling and smoking any kind of meat, and sharing a Budweiser with his friends, affectionately known as "the Pals." Above all, he prioritized his marriage and cherished Melissa, wholeheartedly supporting her through all of life’s journeys and decisions, big and small.
In addition to his wife, Melissa, Dan is survived by his parents, Carol Tatro and Vincent Allard, Sr., and his wife, Dianne Allard. He also leaves behind his brothers, Vincent Allard, Jr., and his wife, Kristy, of Tewksbury, and Thomas “TJ” Allard and his wife, Amy Lynn, of Uxbridge; his adored nieces, Kenzie, Gianna, and Mya; his beloved maternal grandmother, Ann Marie Tatro, of Worcester; and his two loyal dogs, Eddie and George. Dan is also remembered by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Mary Allard, and his maternal grandfather, Robert Tatro.
“To be fully seen by somebody, then, and be loved anyhow – this is a human offering that can border on miraculous.”
