I'm so sorry to finally learn about this. I've been searching for Dan for years. He was a great friend of mine and, for the most part, a delight to know. From the first time I met him, I knew of his diabetes and I remember him teaching me how ot inject him when he wasn't feeling well. He was a great manager at a dog grooming place and, it was so long ago, I forget the name. My son Michael and I loved to walk Casey (Dan's Beagle) and Trevor (Dan's Jack Russel Terrier). I just remember spending time with him in one of the two studio apartments he rented near the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Hilldale. Dan was a great guy and I'm sorry he's gone. I hope he's enjoying heaven.
