It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel (Dan) Craig Baldwin, who departed this life on March 27th, 2025, at the age of 65. Dan was born on March 15th, 1960, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, to Elmer and Marian Baldwin. He graduated from Kenosha's Tremper High School in 1978.
Dan is survived by his son Daniel (Danielle), grandsons Theodore and Fitzgerald, siblings, Nancy (Tim) Koleno, David (Mary) Burlingham, Gayle (Joe) Schwartz, Wayde (Gloria) Baldwin, all of Kenosha, WI, and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Haupt.
While the second half of his life was plagued with a series of illness's, we will remember Dan for his contagious humor, impressive intellect, his sharply quick wit, and his love of dogs.
A memorial visitation will take place at the Peterson and Patch Funeral home (408 N. Sheridan Road, Waukegan, IL) on April 4, 2025, beginning at 10am. There will be a brief memorial service at Noon. The family invites all attendees to the Green Town Tavern at 110 S Genesee St in Waukegan, IL at 1pm to further celebrate Dan's memory.
