Daniel Barnes is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Daniel Barnes and Juliet Lamey Barnes. A sister, Brenda Lepoma, two brothers, Milton Cook and Tommy Barnes.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Bowman Barnes; three children, Deanna Waltman, Daniel Bowman, and Mary Hebert; three sisters, Kathy Livings, Darlene (Bryan) Barnes, and Peggy (Leon) Quave; his grandchildren, Anthony (Ashley) Masters, Talia (Jeremy), Kopszywa, Mariah (Caleb) Ray, Tori Waltman, Matthew Hebert, and Amber (David) Franklin; his great grandchildren, Anastasia Masters, Gerald Hebert, James Franklin, Wyatt Ray, Emma Ray, Eli Ray, Luna Byrd, Steven Byrd, Noah Byrd, and Journey Hebert; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Daniel was retired from the Air National Guard and Ingalls Shipyard. He was a member of Diberville Moose Lodge 332 for many years. He was a Past Governor at the Lodge and held many different offices, and he was a very active member. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, playing golf, and most of all, Darts and Captain Morgan.
Daniel's Celebration of Life will be held at Diberville Moose Lodge 5145 W Gay Road Diberville, MS.

Wishing the family peace during this stressful time ... Danny will be missed by so many people. He was always smiling and laughing (except when he was cooking on steak night, lol)! He was someone you could count on to help / lead any project.
