Daniel Biehl Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Nov. 8, 2022.
Daniel F. Biehl
Dan Biehl, 62, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 6, 2022. Dan was born on June 15, 1960 to William and Helen Biehl. He graduated in 1978 from Marinette High School. On October 31, 1987 he married Carla Minzlaff and together they had five children, 4 sons and 1 daughter. Dan was so proud of each and every one of them. He taught his boys well and they all have many of his talents. His only daughter is graduating this year as a pharmacist and he was proud to tell everyone he met of her achievements. He heard quite often what great kids he had and obviously did a great job raising them.
He also has the title of Grandpa to five amazing grandkids who he loved dearly. Dan will always be remembered as such a hard worker and it was obvious from everything he provided for his family. From the time he was a small boy with stories of picking rocks, to picking up milk from local farms, to building steel buildings and working for Biehl Construction, he always had stories of work. In 1980 he started his business, Dun-Rite Asphalt Sealing and over the years he grew that business into what it is today. He later added Dun-Rite Seamless Gutters to his business ventures and most recently adding paving to his job titles with Biehl LLC. In our eyes there wasn't anything he couldn't do, whether it was running his businesses or his many remodeling projects, he did everything with pride and it was always Dun-Rite. One of his favorite and most ambitious projects was the remodeling of the hacienda he bought for his family. He was so proud of the outcome of his efforts and he wanted everyone to enjoy it. He loved going there regardless if it was to work or just relax with the amazing friends we made there. Dan would be the first to say he couldn't have been as successful without the dedicated, hard working crew that has been there from the start. Along with his boys, they will continue his legacy and may we make him proud.
Dan is survived by his wife of 35 years, Carla; 4 sons, Tyler (Taylor), Justin (Kylee), Austin and Ethan (Jordan); and daughter, Lexi (Austin); 5 grandkids, Ellery, Alexander, Isla, Ashton and Eliza; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Helen Biehl; in-laws, Harold and Betty Minzlaff; and a brother, Steven.
Visitation will be at Hansen-Onion-Martell funeral home on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 4 until 7 p.m. followed by a brief time of remembrance. Entombment will be in Forest Home Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank his sister, Mary, and the many well wishers that helped out during this difficult time.
"Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that's the way I'll remember you all.
If you can only remember me with tears, then don't remember me at all".
Michael Landon
