Donna is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Susan) LaFortune of Neenah and James LaFortune (Karla) of Middleton; sister, Sharon (Mike) Mullen; grandchildren: Kristin (Scott Royer) LaFortune, Rochelle LaFortune, Colette LaFortune, and Brigitte (Ian) and great grandchildren Oslo, Felix and Lily.
A Celebration of Life will be announced in the spring at Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.

Donna was my favorite resident to take care of when I worked at the cottages two years back. She was assertive, and told you how she likes things. Which is what I needed started out new. I loved that she was able to step up and be patient with me, gave me time to know her routine, like how she pins her socks together. I learned so much from her.
She was always so thankful and reliable. I will always remember when he daughter came to visit the cottages and Donna pointed to me and said "That's the girl that takes good care of me."
I was on here for a different reason but now I'm crying out. Donna was a beautiful women, a beautiful soul.
Rest in peace beautiful.

Jim, so sorry for your loss. I remember your mom living down the street from my grandma Wicklund. Your mom was such a sweet person. I mostly saw her at the Menekaunee bake sales each year and occasionally in the yard. She was always a welcoming soul. Hope you and yours are doing well during this time of grief.
