Daniel Edward Bowman

Daniel (Dan) Edward Bowman, 65, of Highland Heights, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2025, at his home, surrounded by those who loved him. He was born May 17, 1960 to the late John "Jack" and Carole (nee Miller) Bowman in Fort Thomas, KY at St. Luke Hospital. Dan graduated from Campbell County High School, where he played baseball, basketball, and was a proud member of the concert and marching band - trumpet and French horn. He earned an Associates Degree from NKU, was a brother of the Alpha Delta Gamma fraternity, and was dedicated to the Golden Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from Southgate, KY. Dan worked as a salesman throughout his career, often exceeding expectations. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Cold Spring, member of the Newport Elks, and St. Joseph Boosters, and was a frequent visitor and supporter of the Southgate VFW. Dan had a love for softball and coached his children in many of the sports they played. He was an avid UK fan, traveling to countless SEC and NCAA Tournaments. Dan always enjoyed music, golf, fantasy football, playing euchre, and different social settings. His favorite things to do were taking his family to the beach and spending time with his grandchildren. He spent the last year and a half of his life with his loving companion, Paula Unrau. Dan is survived by his son, Daniel (Jenna Lewis) Bowman, daughters, Lauren (David) Hungate, Michelle (Adam) Atallah, 5 grandchildren, Wade, Henry, Walker, Eden, Elliott, brothers, Tim Bowman and Patrick Bowman, sisters, Kelley Olson and Judy Bowman, and Dan's children's mother, Lisa Bowman. Visitation 10:30am to 12:30pm, Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Joseph Church (4011 Alexandria Pike) Cold Spring, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Daniel Bowman, 1169 Ayershire Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45230, and will be distributed in Dan's name to organizations that were close to his heart - the VFW and St. Joseph School athletics.
