Daniel Bray Obituary

Bray, Daniel R.

Aug 12, 1969 - Sep 13, 2025

Unexpectedly. Devoted father of Kathleen (fiancé Justin Tighe) Bray and Meaghan Bray. Cherished son of John "Jeb" and Barbara (Spencer) Bray. Dear brother of Geoffrey (Julie) Bray and Stephen (Karin) Bray. Dearest cousin to Douglas Bray. Cherished uncle of Spencer, Emma, Evan, Elizabeth, Andrew, and Karly Bray, and a loyal friend to many. Daniel was a native of Orchard Park, NY. Daniel graduated from Nichols School in 1988, and then went on to St. Bonaventure University, graduating in the class of 1992, and later received his Master's Degree. Our Dad was the most supportive and loving father that two girls could ask for. His kindness, generosity, and humor will be remembered. "Go Bonnies"! The family will be present Friday, September 19th from 3 to 7 PM at the F E Brown Sons Funeral Home, 6575 East Quaker Street, Orchard Park, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday, September 20th at 1 PM in St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 6595 E. Quaker Street, Orchard Park. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, donations may be made in Daniel's memory to St. Bonaventure University at sbu.edu/donate

The Bray Family,
I am deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Dan's passing. Dan possessed a kind heart, quick smile, and friendly demeanor. His posts about his daughters accomplishments showed how much he loved them and the pride he felt in them. Ginny and I send our prayers to you all and hope that your memories of family gatherings and special times help ease the sorrow you must be feeling. God bless.

Jeb, Barbara, Stephen, Geoffrey, and the entire Bray family, I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I didn't know him well, but in the years I worked with Jeb, Barbara and Stephen, when he would stop into the office he was always kind and was always smiling and happy.
