Daniel Brinker Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Viegut Funeral Home on Jul. 21, 2025.
Dan was born in Oklahoma City, OK on February 22, 1971 to his parents Barbara and David Brinker. He graduated high school in OKC and attended college at the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas.
The family made their yearly vacation spot the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO. He ended up working at the Art Building where he met Monica in 1993. Later they were married on October 31st, 2014. Dan always made sure everyone knew that she "hunted me down after 20+ years".
His interest in art started early in life and his journey led him to Loveland's Sculpture Industry. He always felt a sense of accomplishment completing the finishing work on another artist's sculpture. He also painted with watercolors and carved stones.
Loveland's yearly sculpture show was an important event in his life, whether setting up for the show, being an artist's representative and talking with people that attended the show or helping pack up when the show was over. Everyone accepted his talents.
Dan lost his battle to the Demons of Addiction on July 4, 2025.
He is survived by his wife, Monica of Loveland. Sons-Dakota of Reno, NV and Logan (Oriana), Billings, MT. His parents, Barbara and David, OKC. His sister, Beth (Mark)Walker, Richardson, TX. His cat Pixel. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his Minnesota family.
Dan chose to be cremated and to not "fuss" with a funeral.
Special Thanks to cousins Allison and Jason Stergios and boys, the Staff at Riverbend, Bristol Hospice, Rocky Mountain Bronze Shop, Madd Casting, Dragon Casting and all his friends in the Art World.

Dan was a great guy. Wish we had lived in the same Cities after Junior High and High School in Oklahoma City. He's another of the good ones gone before we were ready. Rest in peace, my friend.
