Daniel Lance Burleson

Daniel Lance Burleson, 24, of Stanfield, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025.

Daniel was born October 17, 2000, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina to David Lane Burleson and Hope Poston Burleson. He was preceded in death by grandfathers; James William Poston, Lancaster, SC and Billie Ray Burleson of Stanfield, NC

Daniel enjoyed going to Greater Life Church of Locust, where he was Baptized. He loved God, church and his church family. He was an avid baseball player, Daniel had a collective varity of music that he enjoyed listening and singing too. He adored his family and spending time with each one of them.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm, Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Greater Life Church of Locust. The funeral service will be on Thursday at 3:00 pm at Greater Life Church of Locust, officiated by Pastor Daniel Haskett.

Survivors include parents; David and Hope Burleson of Stanfield, N.C., three siblings; Tyler Burleson, Peyton Burleson Layton, and Madisin Burleson; nieces and nephews, Cayden Layton, Eleanora Layton, William Burleson, and Caroline Burleson; grandmothers,  Betty Jean Burleson, and Sallie Catoe Poston, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
