Daniel Joseph Carroll, 63, of Anderson, passed away at his residence on December 22, 2024. He was born on February 18, 1961, in Elwood, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Daniel graduated from Yorktown High School in 1979, and ITT Tech in 1985.
He was a Senior Maintenance Specialist for Roche Diagnostics, and was a good friend to many there.
He loved nature and exploring the world, traveling with his wife, and telling stories of his adventures. He also loved learning how things work, and had great interest in mechanics, science, and the exploration of space. Music had a significant and constant presence throughout his life, which he shared with friends and family. His intellect, along with his charming personality, made him incredibly captivating to all. He loved people the most; spending quality time with family and friends was so important to him, and his ability to make people laugh was unsurpassed. To know Dan was to love him.
Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Carroll; son, Zachary (Kayla Lee) Carroll; daughter, Alyssa (Andrew Mallard) Carroll; stepdaughter, Chasity (Emilson Torres) Boffil;stepson Daniel I Boffil; grandchildren, Dyland, Crosby, Nora, Amaïa, Iris, and Danny; sister, Linda (Don) Taylor; brother, Steve (Ronetta) Carroll; brother, David (Lisa Barber) Carroll; sister, Sherry (Brian) Lake.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry O. Carroll; mother, Estelle L. Springman.
Cremation will take place with a party (celebration of life) at a later date.
