Daniel "Danny" Castellanos

Daniel "Danny" Castellanos Jr., 65 of Sweetwater passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones and family in the early morning hours on November 9,2025.

Funeral services for Danny are, Prayer Vigil and Rosary service will be on Tuesday November 11,2025 from 6:30-8:00 PM recited by Deacon David Mendez at the McCoy Chapel of Memories. Holy Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am. on Wednesday, November 12,2025 at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish (Immaculate Heart of Mary) with Father Josh Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.

Danny was born and raised in Del Rio, Texas. Upon graduating high school, he moved to Sweetwater, TX. He became an employee of USG and retired after 38 years of service to the company. He enjoyed farming and raising farm animals.

Danny survived by his partner Delia Beltran, brother David Castellanos and wife Marissa, sister Ana Delgado and husband Rudy, sister Norma Torres, brothers Tavo and Victor Castellanos. He also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Concepcion S.Castellanos and father Daniel Castellanos.
