Daniel Lee Crispell, age 56 opened his eyes to the face of Jesus, on Monday, September 1, 2025, after being surrounded by his loving family at home. He was born on April 1, 1969, in Ithaca, NY to Eugene Ray and Gloria Wright Crispell.
Throughout his career, Dan exemplified the spirit of entrepreneurship and resilience. He made significant contributions as a farmer and served as a general superintendent for APAC, where he was integral to paving projects that also encompassed landscaping and excavation. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to own the Chrisjah Transport from 2003 to 2019, providing vital transport services to the agricultural and construction sectors. Additionally, Dan was deeply involved in poultry farming, commercial hay sales, and owned a business that was pivotal in seeding solar panel fields, demonstrating his forward-thinking approach to agriculture and sustainability.
Dan was not just a businessman; he was also an active and respected member of his professional community. He was a proud member of the Southern Road Builders Association, the Georgia Hay Commodity Committee, and was the past president of the Farm Bureau.
A man of faith, Dan served diligently as a deacon at Pineview Baptist Church. His leadership and service underscored his commitment to faith and community, leaving an indelible impact on all who knew him.
Dan is preceded in death by his mother and a son, Thomas Daniel Crispell.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Christine Crispell of Reidsville; his children, Christian (Caitlyn) Crispell of Glennville, Andrew Shane Crispell of Reidsville, Elijah (Rayna) Crispell of Reidsville, Dustin (Traylee) Crispell of Reidsville, Abigail Crispell of Reidsville, Elisabeth "Grace" (Shane) Johnson of Reidsvillle and Nick (Desiree) Wear of Reidsville; his father and step mother, Eugene Ray and Joanne Crispell of NY; his siblings, Mark (Maria) Crispell, Andrea (Duane) Scott, Steve (Kelly) Crispell, and Jackie (Randy) Enslow all of NY; grandchildren, Rhett Crispell, Annie Kate Crispell, Oakley Brooke Crispell, Ledger Crispell, Waylon Johnson, Sadie Jo Crispell and Leon, Lee and Logan Wear; bonus daughters, Stephanie (Rich) Clark of Indiana and Diane Dunham of Reidsville; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 5:00pm on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Glennville Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be conducted 1:00pm on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the Pineview Baptist Church, 6370 GA Hwy 121 Reidsville, GA. with the Reverends Gregg Usry and Rich Clark officiating.
