Daniel Lee Pothast of Covington Indiana known to his friends as “Indy Dan” passed unexpectedly on April 3rd 2025. Indy Dan was born in Indianapolis Indiana on January 26 1966, to his parents, Kenneth & Edith Pothast. He leaves behind a beloved brother Mike Pothast, Nephew Neven Murphy, and life long friend Scott. He spent his time working on his house, online gaming, and riding his motorcycle. He was retired member of the “Sons of Silence” motorcycle club in Danville Illinois. Most recently he spent a great deal of his time working at Hyster Yale in Danville Illinois and taking care of his brother. A service will be held at Flanner Buchanan-Floral Park located at 425 N Holt Rd Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday the 18th. Visitation will be from 4:30-6pm with a funeral service at 6 pm and a 6:30 pm graveside burial.
