Daniel “Danny” Lynn Massay, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at his home at the age of 59. Danny was born on May 23, 1965 in Seminole to Bobby Lynn and Glenda Sue (White) Massay. He was a 1983 graduate of Seminole High School.
Danny is survived by his two daughters, Heather Gordon and husband, John and Rachel Godwin and husband, Adam; brother, Scott Massay; sister, Shelly Trammell; seven grandchildren, Hayden Gordon, Lily Gordon, Madison Gordon, Olivia Gordon, Josie Gordon, Owen Gordon and Avery Godwin and many other family and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Glenda Massay; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Jeanie Massay and grandchild, Tag Godwin.
Danny was skilled at taking things apart and figuring out how to make it a better version before putting it back together. For such a strong man, he had a soft spot for all animals and family. He had really wanted a baby or miniature goat. Danny had a huge heart and loved his grandchildren more than anything.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
