Daniel "Redd" Daugherty was born in Boston, MA on September 18, 1969, to Marva Callender and the late Daniel Daugherty II.
Redd lived and loved his life to the fullest. As a young man, Redd won Mathematics and Computer Science award from St Kevin of Boston, Mass. While he excelled academics, Redd also excelled at Swimming (a skill taught to him by his brother Mike. His mom lovingly remembers instances of them at a young age impressing onlookers with this skill. As a man, Daniel continued his passions and found another – Music. He began DJ'ing.
As time passed, Redd brought 3 Beautiful children into the world: Danielle, Jabree and Devon. Each amazing in their own way. Then he met the woman who caught his eye and captured his heart, his wife of 33 years Virginia "Puddin" Murray Daugherty and her son Dawon Murray. Together, they travelled the world and created a bond the proved to be timeless.
Through their marriage, Daniel began and ran an auto dealership. Philanthropically, Redd assisted at Children's Hospital of Boston as well as the Pine Street Inn of Boston Daniel is survived by his loving Wife Virginia Murray-Daugherty and children Danielle, Jabree, Devon and Dawon, his Mother Marva Callender, brother Michael Daugherty. 5 grandchildren as well as many relative and friends who love and will miss him dearly.
