Daniel Doremus Obituary

Daniel was born in South Kingston, RI on October 31, 1952 a son of the late David and Dorothy (Young)
Doremus. He was a graduate of the technical school at Arlington High School and had a long career as a journeyman machinist.
He was employed for several years at Parker-Hannifin Corporation, and later worked for himself in a small machine shop he had in his home.
He was a member of the Monadnock Bible Baptist Church in Rindge, NH.
His wife, Jill M. (Novak) Doremus passed away in 2006. He leaves his son, Stephen Doremus of West Townend; his granddaughter, Claire Doremus; seven brothers, David Doremus of Arlington, Stephen Doremus of Lexington, Mark Doremus of Berwick, ME, Jonathan Doremus of Temple, GA, Matthew Doremus of Wilmington, Andrew Doremus of Worcester, and Nathan Doremus of Jaffrey, NH; two sisters, Lydia Burrell of Brockton and Debra Anderson of Hudson, NH, and several nieces and nephews.
Daniel's funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17 at 11 AM in the T.J. Anderson & Son Funeral Home, 250 Main St., Townsend, followed by a burial in the Hillside Cemetery. A visitation period in the funeral home will be held prior to the funeral from 9:30 to 11AM.
