Semeret Beyene
July 18, 2024
My name is Semeret Beyene. I worked as Scott Drechsler´s assistant for five years. One day, Daniel Drechsler, Scott´s father, unexpectedly came to the office. He greeted me warmly and said he was there to see his son, but I let him know that Scott was out for a meeting. Daniel stayed, and we chatted for about thirty minutes about family and life. He made jokes, and we laughed together. Before leaving, I assured him that I would let Scott know that he had stopped by. However, Daniel proceeded to trace his hand on the whiteboard and wrote: "Scott, Daddy Loves You." This simple, genuine gesture touched me, and I continue to be moved by it. He will be missed but not forgotten. God bless his family and friends.

To the amazing Drechsler family, we´re deeply saddened for the loss of such an amazing person. Steve was my best friend when we were little, so our families have known each other since. I haven´t seen Mr. Dreschler in many years, but my folks have been telling me stories about how wonderful he truly was. Our hearts are broken with yours and hope that you never forget the precious moments together. Keep the faith and please reach out if there´s anything we can do. Al Adams & family

Danny was the highlight of the annual Wolcott Christmas Concerts. His cartoon characters were innovative and very very funny. I have great memories from all we did at Port Bay.

Danny was a true gentleman who would make any woman smile. He had an infectious laugh that has transcended through his awesome children and grandchildren.

Was such a good friend to my husband during his last weeks before his passing brought tapes of his favorite songs for my husband to listen to. Always so great to reconnect with after he moved from Wolcott. Will be missed by many.
