Daniel Lane Driver, age 39, of Acworth, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born on July 16, 1984 in Lithia Springs to Mr. Harold Driver and Mrs. Sharon Driver. Throughout his journey on this earth, Daniel became known for his zest for adventure and his unwavering love for those around him.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Petty of Powder Springs; brothers, Matt (Jade) Driver of Douglasville and Josh (Carrie) Driver of Hiram; nieces and nephews, Maddox, Nate, Reid and Madalen.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hugh Lee and Essie Driver; maternal grandfather, Linnie Petty.
Daniel's spirit could not be contained within the conventional boundaries of society. His love for boating and off-roading knew no bounds, as he was always eager to embrace the thrill of a new challenge. He had a natural gift for forging connections with others and effortlessly created deep bonds of friendship wherever he went. Daniel's magnetic personality made him the life of every gathering, as he regaled his friends with captivating stories from his adventures while they hung onto his every word.
Beyond his hobbies and interests, Daniel was a compassionate soul who believed in spreading joy and uplifting those around him. He possessed an innate ability to lift spirits even in the darkest of times, offering solace with a kind word or a warm embrace. His genuine care for others knew no bounds; Daniel would go above and beyond to support anyone who needed it, always ready with a helping hand or a comforting shoulder.
Daniel Lane Driver will forever be remembered as a remarkable individual who lived life entirely on his own terms. In our hearts, he will live on as the treasured friend, the fearless adventurer, and the epitome of pure joy.
The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Lamar Rackley and Pastor Major Dalton officiating.

Very sorry to hear about Daniel. He was my little ring bearer in my wedding to Jeff. He was special to us as a couple. I haven´t gotten to see him in years, and my heart breaks of this news. My prayers are with the family.
