Danny was a member of Waldron Pentecostal Church of God. By trade, he was a diesel mechanic in the Dallas area and had a passion for restoring vintage vehicles.
When Faye and Danny first met, a friend of his summarized that Danny was rude, crude and said exactly what he thought but had a heart as big as Texas. All who knew him would lovingly feel this was a fair assessment.
Danny is preceded in death by his parents Dorothy Gadbury Ellison Morrow, Bill Morrow and Dallas Lee Ellison of McKinney Texas. Sisters Carolyn Ellison of McKinney, Texas and Joyce Ellison Anderson of Ennis, Texas
He is survived by his wife, Faye Farless Ellison: twin brother David Lee Ellison (JoAnn) of Red Oak, Texas, and brother Alvin Ellison (Kay) of Frost, Texas
Two daughters Deanna Barr (James) of Ennis, Texas and Stephanie Pennington (Matthew) of Melvin, Texas and one son Eric Ellison (Kris) of Waxahachie, Texas.
Grandchildren Austin Ray Ellison, Michael Pennington, Ashley Costilo (Michael), Travis Ray (Misty), Trent Ray (Brittan) and Brandy Trevino (Marc) and six great-grandchildren.
Also included, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, a beloved fur baby, Rosie, as well as, his neighbor, assistant and sidekick in adventures, Robert Lyle.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena, Arkansas. Interment will follow the service at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas under the direction of Bowser Family Funeral Home in Mena. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Mena, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Austin Ellison, Robert Lyle, John Herring, Konner McKay, Joey Fryar, Berry Wooten, Brad Lyle, Kenny Henry, and Dave Johnson.

I´m am so so sorry for your loss. Danny was a guy who would give the shirt off his back if needed. He was a great friend to my Dad and the McCasland family. He will be missed.
