Daniel was raised on the family farm in Geneva located off Keslinger Road. Following graduation from Geneva High School, Dan continued to farm and settled in Byron, IL. Dan had a social nature who enjoyed frequenting several of Geneva area bars and restaurants. Dan knew everyone in Geneva, and they knew him.
In his retirement, Dan loved going for drives out in the country to see all the farmland, checking out the progress going on at his Silver Glen Farm and discussing his farming days.
He spent most of his days watching FoxNews and keeping up with the current political climate.
He loved going out to lunch, especially when he could order his dessert first.
He is survived by his sister Diana (Richard) Jennings and a nephew Richard Jennings.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Eleanor Fisher.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Moss Funeral Home, St. Charles, IL, 100 South Third Street, St. Charles. IL. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 P.M. Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Geneva IL.

Dan was a great man and a wonderful friend. We shared many memories attending many Cub games and spending time together. He had a fierce interest in cars and could always identify a car at night as it approached simply by the headlights. He had an easy going attitude that endeared him to anyone he met. Unfortunately we lost touch over the past 20 years but I am sure he is in heaven with a couple of other former "Brew Crew Members" Brooke and Craig waiting for opening day in Wrigley Field where the sun always shines. RIP my friend.
