Fort Worth, Texas - Daniel J. Flores Sr. peacefully entered the arms of his heavenly Father on September 13, 2022 at the age of 87. He was born in Alba, TX on October 27, 1934 to Marcos Flores and Anita Jimenez Flores.
Funeral Mass: 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 6 p.m. Sunday in Greenwood Chapel.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Rosario Flores; sister Eva Peña; children, Lily Moralez (Danny), Daniel Flores (Debra), Fred Flores (Rosie), Rene Flores (Traci), Ricardo Flores, Anita Pacheco (Fernando, Sr.), Laura Costillo; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren,; brothers-in-law, Mike and Mo as well as many other family members who he dearly loved.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Marcos and Anita; sisters, Adela Mendoza and Irene Castillo; brother Marcos Flores, Jr.; and his stepmother Irene Flores.
Daniel was a kind, full-hearted family man who worked 40 long years at Lonestar Gas to provide for his family.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle and will be deeply by missed by all who knew him.
