Born in Bronx, NY, Danny is the son of Carmen Diaz and the late Tomas Fuentes.
A member of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island, Danny was an Automotive Wholesaler who specialized in classic cars. He enjoyed skiing, boating, playing football and baseball. Danny was a member of the Dirty Laundry Band where he served as their manager and sound technician. He loved his animals, and he especially loved his family and friends.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Florence Fuentes of Pawleys Island; his children, Tiffany Fuentes of Portugal; Toni Fuentes of Colorado; 1 grandson; brother, Luis Badillo, and his wife Sadie of New York; nieces and nephews, Amber Badillo, Krystal Badillo, Nicholas Badillo, Christian Rodriguez, Jonathan Rodriguez, Michael Marrero and Jason Marrero, Dana Teifer, Deanna Sparrow, and Daniel Teifer.
A Funeral Mass will be held 2:00 PM Friday April 19, 2024, at Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church, Pawleys Island, SC. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Thursday April 18, 2024, at Burroughs Funeral Home, Murrells Inlet, SC with a Prayer Service being held and livestreamed at 7:00 PM.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the loss of Daniel
I worked with him professionally only a couple years, but was always thankful for his incredible Kindness and generosity.
A man of his word, business on a handshake, always forgiving of others who let him down
He loved his wife deeply, and I grieve for her as well

Uncle Danny, I can't believe this is real. You have been apart of my life for its entirety. I am honored that my son was able to have you be apart of his childhood as I was to have you in my own. Since I started my own family, we have taken almost every family vacation at your home. Words cannot express the loss we feel. We love and will miss you, until we meet again watch over us up there. Love you so much.
