Daniel L. Fulop age 82, of Brownsville, formerly of Canonsburg, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday December 3, 2025, in his home. He was born July 31, 1943, in Canonsburg, the son of the late Steve J. and Mary Marchewka Fulop. Dan was a graduate of Chartiers Houston High School, class of 1961, and a 1963 graduate of Penn Commercial Business School. He proudly served with the United States Air Force, prior to his honorable discharge. Dan then attended Carnegie Mellon University, becoming well versed in computers, he helped develop the computer department of Pittsburgh National Bank. He was a member of Syria Temple AAONMS and St. Oliver Plunkett Roman Catholic Parish, St. Michaels Church in Fredericktown. Dan was raised in Canonsburg and lived in Brownsville since 1979. Prior to his retirement in 2007, he was employed as a machine operator with Timberline Packaging. He also worked for many years at Oak Spring Cemetery in Canonsburg. One of his pastimes was building and collecting airplane models, due to his time in the Air Force. Deceased in addition to his parents is his sister Barbara Gourdie and her husband William. Left behind to cherish his memory are three nephews William (Karen) Gourdie, Robert (Mary) Gourdie and Brian Gourdie.
