Daniel Gonzales, a faith-filled, generous, and loving man, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023, in his hometown of Orange, California. Born on September 20, 1965, in Orange, Daniel lived a life filled with compassion, selflessness, and an unyielding dedication to his family, work, and faith.
Surviving Daniel is his beloved wife, Maria Consuelo (Harrison) Gonzales, his two sons, Michael and Johnathan Gonzales and their mother, Teresa Klein (husband Steve), his mother, Elvira and her husband Raymond Brousseau, his two brothers, Joseph Gonzales and Ryan Brousseau; his three sisters, Antonia Behrns and her husband Brett, Sylvia Sohrt, and Melissa Martin and her husband Bryan; his only grandchild, Ellie who he loved dearly.
Daniel is remembered as a beacon of strength and resilience, a man who, despite his own trials, always had a smile on his face and a helping hand to extend. His journey through life was not without its challenges, but he met each with grace and an unwavering spirit, inspiring those who were blessed to know him.
Raised in Orange, Daniel attended El Modena High School, where he first demonstrated his hard-working nature and dedication to excellence. Following his education, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey, starting his own power washing business. After four years, he decided to change professions, becoming a Union Carpenter for Class A Concrete Construction, where he dedicated over 27 years of his life. Daniel found great satisfaction in his work and was known for his meticulous craftsmanship and commitment to quality.
Eleven years ago, Daniel was involved in a terrible accident that affected his memory and some of his abilities. However, despite the challenges and changes this brought into his life, Daniel's passion for serving others and his faith in the Lord never wavered. He continued to live his life with the same joy and kindness that he was known for, touching the lives of many with his generosity and love.
Aside from his work, Daniel had a deep love for spiritual Angels and found great comfort in their presence. He was also an Angels Baseball fan and he often shared this love with his family and friends. He was also known for his heart of gold, always ready with a warm smile and a kind word, making everyone he met feel special and loved.
Daniel Gonzales was a man who embodied the virtues of love, kindness, and faith. His life was a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of family, and the beauty of a generous heart. His memory will live on in the hearts of the many lives he touched, and his legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
Today, we cherish the memory of Daniel Gonzales, not with sorrow, but with gratitude for having had the opportunity to share in his inspiring journey. His life serves as a reminder of the power of faith, the strength of family, and the importance of service to others. His spirit, his smile, and his love will forever be a guiding light for all who were blessed to know him. Rest in peace, Daniel, your love and light will forever shine in our hearts.
