Daniel Francis Goodrow, II

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel Francis Goodrow, II. Born on May 9, 1977, in Saranac Lake, NY, Dan tragically died unexpectedly at home on March 14, 2024 with his family by his side. Son of Daniel Goodrow, Sr. and Joanne Tebo, he leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family.

A devoted husband to his beloved wife Connie, Dan was a very hardworking man, tirelessly building his concrete business to provide for his family. He enjoyed every moment spent with his loved ones and friends, finding joy in simple pleasures like fishing, cooking, and grilling. Traveling with his wife, going to the casino, playing bingo, growing the best herbs, and smoking meat were some of the cherished activities that brought him happiness.

A favorite pastime of Dan's was enjoying Stewart's coffee, a beverage he adored so much that he would make multiple trips a day to savor it. Just five months ago, he had joyfully married the love of his life, Connie, further cementing his devotion to his family.

Dan's life was marked by the moments shared with his children and extended family, relishing in family fun nights and card games. His presence always lit up the room, his laughter and stories bringing warmth to all those around him.

Dan was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Agnes Goodrow, Joseph and June Tebeo, Earnest and Joan Drake; and Amy Drake.

He is survived by his wife Connie Drake-Goodrow; his children Dustin (Kelsie Wells) Drake, Jacob Goodrow, Brianna Drake, and Dylan (Daejean Estus) Goodrow; his siblings Becky Goodrow, Christina (Howard) Goodrow-Drake, Michael "Uncle Mike" (Melissa Lawarence) Kinsman, Mark LaBombard; brothers and sisters-in-law Ernest (Valerie) Drake, Fred (Carry) Drake, Jr., April (Corey Reed) Drake; parents-in law Fred (Wanda) Drake, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.

In honor of Dan's memory, a brief Memorial Service will be held on March 20, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Heidrick-Zaumetzer Funeral Home. Prior to the service, calling hours will take place at the same location starting at 4:00 pm.

A reception will follow the services at 21 Happy Trail Lane at Fern Lake.

Dan's love for his family was unparalleled, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love that he so freely gave during his time on Earth.
