Daniel Allen Griffin, age 69, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, March 31, 2023, at Stonerise Nursing Home in Bridgeport, WV. He was born February 3, 1954 in Cleveland, OH a son of the late James Gifford and Arlene Carol Sanner Griffin. On October 3, 1978 he married Rosetta Kathryn Husk who survives of Buckhannon. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Aleena Shay Griffin of Buckhannon; half-siblings, James and Cindy and his cat Buster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Samuel Allen Griffin. Mr. Griffin was a glassworker at Louie Glass in Weston, WV for 23 years, followed by a maintenance technician at Walmart for 15 years. He loved football, especially the Cleveland Browns, thrift shopping and spending time with his family. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1 PM at the Mt. Carmel Church Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
