Memorial services for Daniel M. Hadley, 46, of Aberdeen, SD, will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, with Pastor Michah Westby officiating. After a courageous battle against cancer, Dan passed away on November 24, at his home surrounded by his family.
Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, Tuesday, at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.
Dan was born September 27, 1976, to Marvin 'Les' and Barbara (Fitch) Hadley in Phoenix, AZ. He moved to Flagstaff, AZ at the age of six where he attended school and graduated from Coconino High School. While in high school, Daniel was active in football. He was an avid weightlifter and was in the 500 club. In 2004, he moved to Aberdeen.
On June 3, 2011, Daniel married Sarah Samuelson. Together, they made their home in Aberdeen. They enjoyed throwing darts, going to concerts and sharing meals. Daniel was a wonderful father and made many memories for his children at the playground.
Daniel enjoyed disc golfing, camping, and was an amazing cook. He loved working as a chef and kitchen manager at many restaurants including Minerva's, The Flame, and Sammy's. He took pride in his work and was especially proud of Burger Night at Minerva's and winning a Wing Contest. He loved his family and would do anything for anyone. His great sense of humor and jokes will be greatly missed.
Grateful for having shared Daniel's life are his wife, Sarah Hadley; children: Drake Hadley, Matilyn Esther Hadley, James Christopher Hadley, Max William Hadley, and Alex Matthew Hadley; Parents: Marvin 'Les' and Barbara Hadley; sister, Nicole Williams; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
