Daniel Hallquist

Daniel R. Hallquist, 72, of Jamestown passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 2025 at UPMC Chautauqua.
A Jamestown native, he was born April 27, 1953, one of two sons of the late Richard E. and Leola M. Phillips Hallquist.
Dan was a graduate of JHS, JCC and Binghamton University. Prior to retirement, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of FTT Manufacturing in Geneseo, NY.
Dan was an avid golfer, enjoyed pickleball and was a member of the Jaycees in Jamestown and AM Rotary in Rochester.
Surviving is his wife, Brenda Shoemaker Hallquist whom he married Dec. 18, 1993; sons, Kevin Wisler of Frewsburg, Richard Wisler of Kutztown, PA, and daughter, Paula (Michael) Timko of Ocean City, MD; three grandchildren: Andrew (Heather) Timko of Snow Hill, MD, Christine (Ben) O'Malley of Berlin, MD, and Matthew Wisler of Frewsburg; and great-grandchildren, Bryce and Remy O'Malley.
Along with his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother, R. Terry Hallquist.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4th at Hillcrest Baptist Church, led by Rev. Mark Hinman. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the funeral service.
