Daniel Hollifield Obituary
On July 23, 2023, Daniel Eugene Hollifield passed away after a brief illness into the arms of Jesus Christ to that Heavenly Home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Brenda Painter Hollifield; one brother, Michael; two sisters, Joyce and Rebekah; two nephews; five great nieces; and two great nephews.
Daniel "Gene" was born to Gilkey and Ruby Hollifield on July 28, 1939 in McDowell County in which he lived most of his life.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Turkey Cove Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Ward officiating.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38 & 39
