Daniel John Holmes Sr., born December 11, 1944 in Los Angeles, CA and passed away on November 24, 2024 in Amarillo, TX.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Holmes Sr.; mother, Margaret Holmes (Hastings); brothers, Jim, Tom, and Bob Holmes; and sister, Pat Norris.
Daniel is survived by his wife of 42 years, Paula Holmes (Lechert); brother, Joe Holmes Jr. and wife Carol; sister, Peggy Holmes; daughter, Alice Goyette and husband Kevin; son, Daniel Holmes Jr. and Clovis; daughter, Rebecca Holmes; stepdaughters, Priscilla Pearson and husband Sam, and Diana Lira-Duron and husband Martin; grandchildren, Shawn Letchworth and wife Domonique, Natica Castillo and husband Xavier, Anthony Hoffman and wife Kelly, Johnny Lattig and wife Joanna, Jennifer Clements and husband Stephen, Joseph Lopez, Isaiah Lopez, Jamie Holmes, Joshua Lopez, Emma Blankenship and Bryce, Bobby Holmes, Anyssa Duron, Aubrey Theesfeld and husband Brandon, and Macey Smith and husband Morgan; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
