Daniel T. Huscroft, Sr., 82, of Sharpsville, PA, passed away peacefully Friday evening, November 7, 2025, in Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Huscroft was born June 8, 1943, in Sharon, a son of the late Frank Huscroft and Virginia (Shaffer) Huscroft Marshall, and also lovingly raised by his step-father, Robert "Chick" Marshall. He was a 1961 graduate of Badger High School, Kinsman, OH.

A proud veteran, Daniel served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

After returning home, he worked for General American Transportation Corp (GATX) in Masury, OH, until 1984. Soon after, he began a career as a corrections officer and served at the State Regional Correction Facility in Mercer, PA, retiring after more than 20 years.

Daniel was a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, Hermitage.

He enjoyed playing golf and coaching his son's youth baseball team. His greatest joy was supporting his grandchildren, especially by attending their numerous athletic events.

His beloved wife of 52 years, Helen (Young) Huscroft, whom he married on July 20, 1968, preceded him in death on January 5, 2021.

Daniel is survived by a son, Daniel T. Huscroft, Jr. (Kelly), Vienna, OH; a daughter, Lisa Nemtz (Raymond), Howland, OH; a brother, James Huscroft (Martha); and two sisters, Kathy Sielschott (Norman) and Frankie Morse, all of Kinsman, OH; five grandchildren, twins Alyssa Huscroft and Alexis Jones (Noah), Nathaniel Huscroft, and Andrew and Nicholas Nemtz.
