Daniel F. Jozwiak

Daniel F. Jozwiak, 83, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 3:57 p.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023, in the Raclin House. Daniel was born on August 12, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana to Frank S. and Violet (Ciesielski) Jozwiak. He retired from the Timken Company and was also employed with Torrington. On February 26, 1972, in South Bend, he married Edna J. Singleton, who survives. Daniel is also survived by two daughters, Carla Wenthe of Phoenix, Arizona and Collen (Steve) Crawford of Elkhart, Indiana; three grandchildren, Erin (Trevor) McGilvra, Emma Wenthe, and Jordan (Carly) Crockom; and four great-grandchildren, Tatem, Tyler, Lyla, and Jade. He was preceded in death by his sister Carol and his brother Ken. There will be no public visitation or funeral. Private family services will take place with inurnment at St. Joseph Cemetery. Daniel was a former Trustee for Warren Township. He was a member of the Crumstown Conservation Club. Daniel was a model train enthusiast and a very talented handyman and woodworker. Kaniewski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
