Daniel Gregory Juarez Sr passed away on June 7, 2024 in Peoria, Arizona, at the age of 78. Born on September 17, 1945, in Phoenix, Arizona, Daniel was a devoted son to his late parents, Alexander and Mary Juarez, and a caring brother to his late sister, Theresa Gutierrez.
Daniel proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a testament to his dedication and valor. His service during the Vietnam War marked a significant period in his life, reflecting his courage and commitment to his country.
Following his military service, Daniel pursued further education at Phoenix College, enriching his knowledge and skills. Throughout his life, Daniel was known for his love of the outdoors, often found camping and fishing in his spare time. An avid sports fan, he passionately supported the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Diamondbacks, and Arizona Cardinals.
Remembered for his playful spirit, kind, loving, and hard-working nature, Daniel was a source of joy and inspiration in the lives of many. His engaging personality and the wealth of stories from his diverse experiences made him a delightful companion.
Daniel is survived by his brother, Anthony Alcaraz; his children, Daniel Juarez Jr, Joey Juarez, and Jade Franks; as well as 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. His family and friends will miss him dearly.
A service to celebrate the life and legacy of Daniel Gregory Juarez Sr will be held on July 1, 2024, from 10am to 12pm at Regency Funeral Home, located at 9850 W Thunderbird Rd, Sun City, AZ 85351, to exchange stories and other personal tributes to celebrate his life. Following the celebration, he will be laid to rest with military honors at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located at 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024 at 2pm.
