Jay Kelly Doyle, of Huger, SC, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2025, while on vacation in Phoenix, AZ. Born on April 9, 1961, Jay was a kind-hearted and happy-go-lucky soul who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His warmth, friendliness, and ability to light up any room will be deeply missed.
Jay was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend. He had a special place in his heart for his beloved grandchildren, Chloe, Skylar Schultz and Ellora Mae, who brought him endless joy. A true Detroit Lions fan, Jay always carried a hopeful spirit, both in football and in life. He was known for his generosity-always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
He is preceded in death by his father, George, and his brothers, Jeffrey and Shannon. He leaves behind his loving mother Dorothy Doyle; his brother, Jim Doyle; and his daughter, Danielle Jaye. While he will be dearly missed, his family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with his father and brothers.
Jay will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be arranged at a later date to honor his memory. His family invites all who knew and loved him to join in remembering the incredible man he was.
