Daniel J. Kelleher

Daniel J. Kelleher, 80, of Teaneck, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 30th. Beloved son of the late Daniel and May Kelleher (nee; Walsh) Dear brother of Patricia Marquart, loving uncle of Timothy and the late Brian Marquart, as well as, many cousins and friends. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Before retiring, Daniel was a Teacher of Computer Science, Mathematics, English, and Student Government Moderator at Hudson Catholic Regional Highschool in Jersey City, NJ. Daniel was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He served his country during the Vietnam War from 1969-1971. Decorated as a First Lieutenant and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Sharpshooter Badge during his service to our grateful nation. He was also a proud member of the Princeton Club in New York City and was a lover of the Arts. His hobbies included acting and visiting museums in his spare time. Funeral Service from Volk-Leber Funeral Home. 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ on Thursday September 11th at 10:30am, then to St. Anastasia's Catholic Church. 1095 Teaneck Road. Teaneck, NJ, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Friends and family are invited to visit Thursday from 9:30-10:30am at Volk-Leber Funeral Home.
