Daniel Paul Kratwell, age 51, left this world on August 6, 2025, passing away peacefully in the comfort of his home, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on January 23, 1974, Daniel was the cherished son of Robert John Kratwell and Karen Ann Kratwell. On January 24, 2006, he celebrated a beautiful union with Kim Kratwell (née Kleiber), his soulmate and partner in life. Together, they nurtured a loving family that includes their children: Justin Neu, Shauniece (Brandon) Rajeck, Alesha (Jamen) Neu, Kaleb (Jamie) Kratwell, Bryton (Hannah) Kratwell, and Jacob (Kayley) Kratwell. The family also includes a beloved fur baby named Gizmo, who brought joy and companionship to their lives.
Daniel devoted a significant portion of his career to FedEx in Weston, WI, where he was known for his work ethic and friendly demeanor. When he wasn't working, Daniel could often be found indulging in his passions. A member of the CWDA Dart Association, he enjoyed the thrill of dart competitions. Additionally, he delighted in the peacefulness of fishing, the camaraderie of golfing, and the joy of camping in nature. His love for war movies was also a defining part of his character, often shared with family during cozy movie nights. Most importantly, he loved spending precious moments with his grandchildren, creating memories that will forever warm their hearts.
Daniel is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Kim, and his siblings: James (Kay) Kratwell, Michael (Laurie) Kratwell, and Patrick Kratwell. He leaves behind a legacy of love in his grandchildren: Gabriel, Jaeven, Caden, Damien, Julian, Westley, Jakobe, Everett, and Elijah. Additionally, he is survived by his brother and sister in law: Scott (Jancy) Kleiber, Laurie (Keith) Withers, Jenny (Tim) Kuether, and nieces and nephews Amanda (Roy) Withers, each of whom holds a cherished place in his heart.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Donald (Katherine) Kratwell and Marcella Seymour, as well as both of his parents, Robert John Kratwell and Karen Ann Kratwell, whose love shaped his life.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nurses from Heartland Hospice, who provided comfort during Daniel's final days. They also extend their deepest appreciation to Brenda Baker, the CNA from Inclusa, and to Amanda and Roy for their unwavering kindness and support during this challenging time.
A celebration of Daniel's remarkable life will be held September 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Big Eau Pleine Park, site #19, located at 3301 Eau Pleine Park Road, in Mosinee, WI. Family would please like those attending to RSVP to Jim, Kay or Kim via Facebook. We welcome family and friends to come together to honor the memory of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.
